This hand-made quilt ( 66" x 66") made with soft red, white and blue hues is paired with a brown bear also wrapped in a Patriotic quilt.  The quilter, from Sew Katie Jean in Lincoln, CA supports Captain Joseph House Foundation in her shop by holding fundraising opportunities focused on quilting projects throughout the year.  Gold Star Children find a stuffed animal wrapped in a quilt on their beds when then arrive for their respite week at Captain Joseph House.
